Auction Committee Chair: Michelle Salisbury

This is a fun and fabulous event! In the past, the auction has been a “Birch-Chella” musical festival event, but really the sky is the limit with what we want this event to be. Birch Lane has a super musical community and what better way to raise funds to support our students and teachers! With the auction or music fest, we have two goals: 1.) raise money to support the fantastic programs at Birch Lane that benefit all students, and 2.) bring the whole Birch Lane community together for a night of adult fun and music! Childcare is sometimes made available. As this is a big event, many hands make for light work! The chairperson works with a large committee to plan the event. The committee members provide the connections and experience to plan the pieces: finding a venue, arranging for food and refreshments, picking the musical lineup, and procuring/organizing auction donations. The committee has a collection of documents and instructions from past events to make planning easy.
