This is a great activity for kids who are still learning the rules of the road when it comes to riding. A Bike Rodeo is a skills course that is designed to be fun, interactive, and non-competitive. It helps kids learn hand signals, helmet fitting, ABC quick check, proper stopping at stop signs and more!
In order to make this a great event, we will need a few volunteers to help kids at the various skills stations. We do have 3 bike instructors who will show you all you need to know, so no experience is necessary–Just a willingness to help out our kids! Want your kids to participate in the Bike Rodeo? Fill out the permission slip (here) and bring it to the rodeo. Be sure they come with their own helmet and bike!
