The PTA needs volunteer scanners for the kids walking and biking to school!
Do you have a free half-hour from 8-8:30am? Want to get out and see the start of the day at Birch Lane, and meet the kids and parents? If so, we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We are the scan and notify volunteer crew and we need a few parents to commit to one half-hour a week to help the Birch Lane kids who bike, walk, scooter, or skateboard to school let their parents know they have arrived safely. This service is highly valued and costs little, but requires a little volunteer participation.
If you can help, please contact Jonathan Kaplan (kalos4@juno.com) to sign-up. Parents, extended family, and friends are all welcome. If additional volunteers are not available, this service will be forced to end.
